Welcome to the plentysystems integration for Alokai 3 (previously Vue Storefront). This documentation will provide you with all the information you need to get started.

What is plentysystems?

plentysystems is an e-commerce ERP system that combines stock management with a shop system and omni-channel sales. Thanks to the many features and integrations, you can use the cloud-based software to handle all your online and offline commerce, fully automated.

Besides its own online shop, plentysystems connects to all relevant marketplace, payment, logistic, online shop, legal and affiliate marketing providers. plentysystems also includes the app-based point-of-sale software plentyPOS. In short, plentysystems allows you to sell on many sales channel while managing everything in one place.

What is PlentyONE Onlineshop?

Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) are websites that offer functionality you typically only find in local apps:

• Home screen icon; full-screen app without visible browser
• Different operating systems may provide additional functionality
• Customers can view products even when they're offline or have a bad connection
• No significant delay in load times
• One app for all devices
• Easy to use in the browser; downloading and installing the app isn't required

Based on the e-commerce framework Alokai, PlentyONE Onlineshop offers great performance out of the box. Once you’re set up, you benefit from a headless progressive web app that still seamlessly integrates with the rest of plentysystems.
